I am very surprised by the 40% difference in particpation by women in online casino vs online sports betting. Is that because they understand the casino games better? I'm skeptical about the number. What do you know about this?
Historically sports betting has been male-dominated globally for decades. In one business I worked for in the UK 90% of registered customers and 95% of handle was from men. In Ireland 80% of registered customers and 90% of handle was from men.
If the numbers are correct, it's a tremendous opportunity for the sportsbook that figures out how to do it.

I was surprised by it and it could be operator-specific. But it just speaks to how male-focused sports betting is at the moment
