In this episode, I’m rejoined by Brianne Doura-Schawohl, the founder of BDS Consulting, who had a bird’s eye view of the recent meeting on limiting sports bettors held by the Massachusetts Gaming Commission.
Brianne and I dive into the meeting, offering the participant and viewer perspectives and what might emerge from it.
We also discussed the SAFE Bet Act, introduced last week by Rep. Paul Tonko and Sen. Richard Blumenthal. We both have misgivings about the bill (as currently believed to be written), but we also agree that federal action is likely inevitable unless the industry makes some changes.
