In this episode of the Talking Shop Podcast, I’m joined by Rich Criado, a former Disney and Carnival executive who pivoted to the world of online gambling, first with Penn Interactive (helping develop their online casino product) and then with Fanatics. Rich advises companies to think outside the box and develop strategies combining the digital and physical experience.

Rich and I discussed the industry’s tendency to look inward for ideas and how it could benefit from looking at experiential companies like Disney and Carnival for a deeper understanding of consumer behaviors and motivations and shifting consumer spending habits.
